This looks awesome. You have some great art to run with here.
I agree with Brian- If the Kaiju's could be slightly more distinguished in his silhouette than it'd be perfect. Otherwise this is all really really slick.
Good idea, Logan, the more simple but punchy ways the kazoo theme could be audibly woven into the soundscape to synesthetically augment movement, spawning, enemy damage, etc., the better.
These are freaking amazing. Great job David! Attractive limited palette. Triple outlines also pull everything together in a cohesive style.
ReplyDeleteThe Kaiju could be a little more readable in the logo perhaps (the non-readability is exacerbated by the fact the guy has no eyes or face).
These look great! Everything works awesome together visually. I REALLY like the subtle touches of the street lights (and spot lights?).
ReplyDeleteThis may be out of scope, but are there going to be any other skins for the look of the Kazoo (and/or buildings)?
Also, is there going to be any visual (besides its shape) or audible cue(s) to suggest that you are playing on a giant Kazoo?
In reference to cues suggesting a giant kazoo, I guess the name of the game (being as catchy as it is) could suggest the giant kazoo.
