My AR Repo

My Fantastic Git Repo

Hey everyone, if you guys are interested in looking at my projects, I created a few repos on my github account. Ninj, Firestarter and WebGL are things not dealing with the AR class... but yeah if you guys want to mess around with the stuff or try to deploy them to your phones you can try with these projects.

NuFormer 3D Video Mapping Projection on Buildings

Regarding the Google's Project Glass (AR Glasses) - I can't wait until big AR projects are less instrumental/practical and more celebratory and wasteful. Mixing the virtual and the real can be so powerful - that mixture deserves to be fully explored, for example:

Google Unveils Project Glass: Wearable Augmented Reality Glasses

Figured ya'll would be interested in this.

http://allthingsd.com/20120404/google-unveils-project-glass-wearable-augmented-reality-glasses/

Excerpt: "Google today went public with its plans to offer augmented-reality glasses, which it’s calling “Project Glass.”
Unveiling the project should make it easier for Google to test the weird-looking glasses in public. As currently designed, they have a horizontal frame that rests on a wearer’s nose, with a wider strip of computer and a little clear display on the right side. So they’re not really “glasses” in the traditional sense at all."

Super Afghan Death To Chocopuff Group Ideas

Hey guys in my group I'm going to list game ideas we had in class here - in no real order of preference feel free to add more to it and comment on them!

Egyptian Light Puzzle: Turning AR cards to solve puzzles of light.

Edge of the AR: A game where if your character goes off the AR card you die but in order to kill
enemies you have to make them exit the screen of view.

Centipede / Spider Fingers: Placing AR cards on your fingers / knuckles that act as spider / centipede legs to move a hand across a puzzle / screen

Ghost AR Card Possession: A haunted hose with a variety of AR cards for a ghost to possess and scare people away. Ex: Haunted lamp / vacuum

Hands to Paws: An AR game where your hand is a paw and you have to deal with trying to use things people take for granted with out opposable thumbs.

Rock Paper Scissors: AR game for RPS

Zombie Midwife: An AR game where you try and keep a zombie midwife from eating the baby she is taking care of.

New Ideas:
Direct the crowd: An AR game similar to the concept of Atom Zombie Smasher where you direct a crowd by placing AR cards. In this you're trying to block a car's path as it travels through the city you place cards and try to get crowds to go to that area slowly and block its path.
